Winter Field Hockey

We are excited to announce our winter field hockey sessions for 2023-2024. We will be offering 10 sessions with skills + drills and scrimmages in the BMO Dome in Fredericton. These sessions are open to everyone, and we will divide groups based on ages and experience. Come out and work on some skills, learn the sport, or get back into it!

A reminder that participants must have valid FHC memberships (expire Sept 1) and FHNB memberships (expire Dec 31). Only FHC memberships can be paid by credit card.

Umpire High School Field Hockey!

Interested in becoming an umpire for high school field hockey?

FHBC has the FHC community level umpire course available online for only $30 for non-FHBC members. FHNB will reimburse a limited number of people for the course upon approval of the application linked below and confirmation that they will umpire for NB high schools during the 2023-2024 season. Please consider taking the course and umpiring for your local high school to support the sport and earn a bit of extra money!

Introduction to Field Hockey Rules Information Session

FHNB is pleased to welcome umpires Keely Dunn and Madison Romeril to host an Introduction to Field Hockey Rules Information Session over Zoom August 30th from 6-7pm AST. This session free of charge and open to all who want to learn more about field hockey rules including athletes, parents, coaches, or spectators. Keely and Madison will also provide the group access to an online field hockey rules course for those who want to learn more.
